Ghettomation Pomona Pics

I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had the Ghettomation poster hanging at the DA gallery in downtown Pomona. Now I can finally say I have had art displayed at the DA.

Bob Pece is the artist that lent us his home/gallery/studio to have the event. What a wonderful host he was. We had a full house but Bob made us al feel very at home. It was cool to see how everyone mingled and hung out before and after the show.

I did the kick off intro. You can check out a full wrap up on the Ghettomation podcast (will be posted week of 29th).

Thank you to everybody that came out and showed support for some really cool indie animation. All of us animators appreciate your attendance. Hope you had fun. I know we all did! We'll be doing this again sometime , but at a BIGGER venue. Stay tuned for mre.

Some good things just cant wait. I was originally planning to premiere this at the Ghettomation animation fest in Pomona (this Saturday night), but it is making it's debut online a few days early. Oh well. The world gets an early treat. The Ghettomation Pomona fest will see the LIVE AUDIENCE world premiere, I guess :) And now....put yo' handz up in tha aye-yuuuuurr and wave 'em like ya just don't cay-yuuurrr!!

I saw Snoop Dogg's Snoop de Ville in Covina at an event this weekend. It was probably the coolest looking car since the Batmobile. I wonder if there would be racial tensions between this car and the General Lee?

a MAD gift

Thank you SO MUCH to one of my best buddies, the talented JUSTIN STEWART, for sending me these MAD paperbacks. You don't even know how much I appreciate this. I collected MAD and MAD books as a kid and somehow I didn't have a single one of these. Howling MAD? Three Ring MAD? The Abominable Snow MAD? Come on...these are classics.....and now I got 'em!

Funktasmic Five

The Funktasmic Five. One of the premiere funk bands from back in the day. Oh yes, I can remember. With hits like "Woman, Don't Trip", "All Night Rocka", "Stay That Booty Down", and ""You Can't Take My Player's Card" they should be making the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame any day now. Classic.
