Ape about APE

I would just like to say that I have really good feelings about the APE show (San Francisco). It was my first time attending and the staff, the crowd, the vendors...everything was right. I noticed there were no DVDs of Cartoons for sale. That made me pee just a little (with excitement). This place is perfect for me. Next year I am totally there, with DVDs in hand. That, I promise. I can't wait to take the wife too. We'll have a good time. My buddies, my wife, my art, my SF cousins, good food....next year will rock! Here's looking at you, APE.

Thanks for the APE pics and report. You have been hinting..Your "secret" project is in the works. Should be awesome. Is this going to be a "feature"?
There is a book called "Foundation Flash Cartoon Animation". Tim Jones and others.
I found this book very helpful. It might give you some valuable content for future Ghettomation shows.
Good luck on your movie. Keep going.

Thanks! Heres a hint....its not quite a feature, yet. But it is a big connected project. Think SEQUEL and PREQUEL!

These are awesome APE snippets! Man, you somehow simultaneously captured the excitement and the mundane aspect of being at a convention (but more excitement than anything.....APE 2009 was definitely one of the best!)

I love how the audio makes it sound like us cartoonists are matadors, signing books to the crowd's wild enthusiasm. Ole'!!!

Thanks for sharing, Jimmy! Feel free to post more incriminating video of our trip! Any hot Daly City footage?

*Oh, I know...you're saving the Daly City stuff to sell on the Internet. Smart!
