REVENGEANCE PREMIERE (PARIS) and REVIEWS!

REVENGEANCE RECIEVED A STANDING OVATION AT IT'S WORLD PREMIERE/PARIS
Revengeance had it's world premiere in Paris last week at the Festival E'Trange.
It was really well received by the audience (standing ovation) and the first reviews are in!
Now, mind you, these were translated with Google Translator, so the English might be a
little funky (and hilarious), but you'll get the point!
FIRST REVIEW....
It is in the 300 room busy the Forum des Images Coralie and I discovered second world premiere
The Avenger Bill Plympton and Jim Lujan. The first was also present to introduce the film to the
audience of the Strange Festival. The slightly loser Red Rosse bounty hunter finds himself in grave
danger from the moment he accepted the job of former wrestler became a senator Deathface.
His mission: find Lana, a girl full of secrets, but he will not be alone on the spot ... a mercenary gallery
ensures pocket the reward promised by Deathface. The plot takes place in two stages: first see the
mission and the race between the mercenaries and the mysterious Lana, thereby introducing a gallery
with appetizers and all of western rich urban universe cinematic references.
In fact, hard not to think about the filmography of Tarantino and Warriors of the Night in the use of
prominent punk rock songs. Then it switches to a more active view when you get to know Lana and the
reason for his revenge. It is easily carried away by history to explore the underlying reasons for our
vengeful and after that, the film takes its time and knows a pace of decline; as to torture the viewer
when one wants one thing: to see Lana skin to Deathface crooked. Sometimes there at times on the
verge of contemplative, recalling the atmosphere of Spaghetti Westerns and endless deserts.
The character of Lana, passing the issue to being an active heroine proves to be badass and sensitive
to both. We want to follow the end of the world as it manages its almost perfect plan
(but be careful, you do not know more!). We also learn about its origins mestizo small touches and
where does the science of combat, which is also backed by a vocal performance while
correctness of the actress Sara Ulloa. His icy and determined presence leaves an aftertaste of Japanese
revenge films as Lady Vengeance or the saga of The Female Scorpio.
Also, in addition to music, Jim Lujan provides outstanding performance in interpreting such a crazy
cast of characters as each other, it goes Red Rosse in ... its high Mom in color, sour torque Miss Candy
and Deathface adding thirsty mercenaries money. The director has such a deep knowledge of his
world it is difficult to identify the ear as the vocal nuances related to age and gender are met. Chapeau!
Animation female characters door paw Plympton, by their sensuality and expression of a bodily
roundness, what transpires on the sexy but equally redoubtable Miss Candy's assistant Deathface.
It has the mouth of a pin-up and the keen intelligence of a working girl of 80 years and leads the
former wrestler to the stick. On the other hand, the male protagonists seem straight out of
Sanjourno Must Die, the web series in the universe gangster Jim Lujan, because they carry within
them the greed of this environment where all the tricks are good for getting rid competition.
The marriage of mastering animation of Plympton and the creative richness of Lujan The Avenger
gives a glow and a particular roughness. These two qualities are sufficient motivation to want
to support this pair on future projects because it is a first collaboration rather successful!
ED Distribution will release the film in our cinemas in 2017, expect me to follow the event closely.
AND THIS ONE...
Stirring images of the American imagination, Plympton and Lujan offer us a film with unbridled humor
and scathing pinning through Uncle Sam, sometimes scat (as often in Plympton), definitely irreverent

the inventiveness never fails and leads to a result that also mastered scoring.

If the film is perhaps too talkative hair, collaboration of Plympton and Lujan everything proves to be quite
successful and stands as obvious as the chemistry between them is visible.

Vengeful and presents a gallery of sacred mouths (gangsta tap into the badass daronne Rod Rosse
through a sect also illuminated that over-armed!), Provided more than usual in Plympton!

The action is set in the spotlight, even if there surely loses part of the poetry of the filmmaker, especially
as its animation style, though still remarkable, does not always lend at rates as hectic.

If the film is really not his best either, especially at the colorization, the creativity of Plympton, associated
with that of Lujan, is however Wonderland and the film is full of ideas. Both authors are particularly found
in terms of irreverence and do not hesitate to fuck US joyfully, mainly with Deathface, this character
wrestler / bikeur / Senator, somewhere between the President of 'Idiocratie and ... and ... and just actually did!

If The vengeful will surely divert a portion of the public accustomed to far more expensive productions,
Plympton shows once again that such animation, independent and a more human scale, not only
(im) pertinent but even necessary.
AND THIS ONE...

A fire destroyed the landmark of Inland Emperors, a biker gang. Deathface, former member of the
club became a senator after a glorious wrestling career, convenes several bounty hunters to find him
responsible. Among them, Rod Rosse hides his sleuthing as a salaryman allure of glasses.
Also, he quickly discovers that a girl has embarked on a vengeful quest.
Eighth Film Bill Plympton, The vengeance is his first co-directing. Indeed, the pope of the US indie
movie joins here with Jim Lujan, including creator of the series Sajourno must die. The first took
care of the storyboard and animation while the latter wrote the script and designed the (many)
characters. Vengeful and presents a gallery of sacred mouths (gangsta tap into the badass daronne
Rod Rosse through a sect also illuminated that over-armed!), Provided more than usual in Plympton!
